Working closely with the National Sales Manager & Marketing Director to drive sales of well-known pet brands in the specialty channel to Vet and Pet Specialty stores across Southern Africa.Deliver targeted marketing ideas and sales initiatives in the B2B environment. Strategic support to the national sales team delivering campaigns targeted to the whole country or regionally, together with assisting, coordinating, and collaborating with our supply customer partnerships to drive growth through the business and into the channels across various product lines and categories.Sales & promotion implementation of strategy with reporting on KPIs related to marketing budget ROI on promotion implementation and marketing co-ordination.Collaboration with the NSM and Marketing /Supply customer Director to derive and co-ordinate programmes geared to driving sales and profitability.Assist in down load of sales growth and profitability drivers to sales team and other departments, short-dated stock control and clearance, new product procurement, listings and launches.Co-ordinate and ensure price changes are pulled through in required departments and deployed to the various teams.Deliver and update activity planner to keep sales team focus on key objectives.Front end maintenance of the B2B online ordering portal and product updates, with regular input along with liaising with Dev team for ongoing updates and reinvention.Advertising content. Some design and copy required, aligned closely to strategic growth drivers and translated into e -and other advertising, tactical flash promotion with communication and specific launch programmes. Social media: Re-working provided material and deploying to trade as required.Internal and external PR, basic digital design creation, the sourcing & deployment of promotional items, POS & Premia and the development and deployment of basic sales materials.Co-ordination of events such as presence at trade congresses or CE events.Co-ordination of launches of new products, both on small line extension scale or large new to market ranges.Co-ordination of promotional feedback presentations if required by key suppliers.Ad hoc requirements or projects if and when required: Welfare donations, company events, Mystery shopping /field visits.
