Marketing Controller & Analyst - RGU/HRD
Reporting to the Head of Strategic Marketing
New Concept Mining Aeroton
Purpose
To gather, analyse and interpret internal and external sales and marketing data and prepare various related reports and dashboards to be published monthly.
Monitor and report on marketing and sales initiative performance and trends.
Assist in Forecasting and Demand planning.
Assist in budget planning activities.
Conduct market research and develop market intelligence.
Support marketing strategy development.
Various other reporting, presentation and communication assignments as required.
Qualifications Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a related field (Marketing, Business admin, Economics etc.)
Computer literacy, with specific emphasis on Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Experience with Syspro (ERP) and/or software related to the role would be advantageous.
Knowledge & Experience
Able to demonstrate competence and achievement in similar roles or functions as described in the job purpose.
Experience within a manufacturing environment is beneficial.
Experience within the mining and tunnelling market is beneficial.

Sales analysis
Continuously gather and collate sales related financial metrics throughout the month and publish weekly dashboard to track budget progress and trends.

Publication of timeous and accurate sales reports with insights that enhance the usefulness of the presented information.
Able to answer questions related to the support or source information required to enhance the interpretation of the report.

Forecasting and demand planning
Collect forecasts and budgets from the global customer centres and collate the information into a centralised forecast and demand plan for use across the business.
Track progress towards the forecast and budget - source feedback where discrepancies emerge.
Provide support to users of the forecast and budget across the organisation.
Maintain timeously available and accurate forecasts to support business activities across the organisation.
Proactively track forecast and budget progress and draw the attention of affected stakeholders where deviations emerge.
