JOB PROFILEJOB PURPOSEThe core purpose of the role is to support and facilitate the execution of marketing initiatives within an organization, assume responsibility for all marketing, graphic design, and brand development activities.KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

  • Graphic design.
  • Social Media Management.
  • Brand Management.
  • Administration and Reporting.
  • SHEQ Integrated Management System control.
  • GRAPHIC DESIGN
  • Conceptualise and convert ordinary text into visually appealing content.
  • Design Marketing Materials and arrange printing with providers as required.Product Catalogues.
  • Training Manuals and basic videos.
  • Brochures.
  • Commercial documents.
  • Technical bulletins.
  • Flyers / Pamphlets.
  • Wall Charts.
  • Policy/procedure notices.
  • Price lists.
  • Create HTML email signatures.
  • Internal and external newsletters.
  • Business cards.
  • Ad Hoc marketing materials as required by the needs of the business
  • SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGEMENT
  • Develop and maintain digital and other marketing campaigns to increase web traffic.
  • Website maintenance
  • Monitor and maintain website.
  • Ensure website is up to date with all the latest products.
  • Develop, drive, and maintain the social media platforms - content plan, and policies.
  • Writing of marketing copy, social media content, website content, press releases, articles, ad copy, blogs, PowerPoint presentations etc.
  • BRAND MANAGEMENT
  • Assist the CEO with the execution of the H Systems Marketing Strategy and Objectives
  • Support the CEO with the establishment and execution of:
  • The Marketing plan.
  • Evaluate monthly progress of marketing objectives and targets.
  • Evaluate Marketing plan effectiveness quarterly.
  • Generate innovative ideas to promote our brand and our products.
  • Understand the marketplace and the customer requirements and align initiatives in order to exceed customer expectations.
  • Create customer driver marketing strategies to launch and market new products.
  • Contributes to planning and developing a marketing strategy for the company to promote the image, brand awareness and services of the organisation.
  • Execute various marketing campaigns, including advertising, promotions, and events.
  • Participates in and represents the company in marketing events.
  • Prepare and arrange corporate gifting and ensure timeous delivery.
  • Always maintain a high level of customer service levels standards
  • ADMINISTRATION AND REPORTING
  • Run specials on slow moving products or products requested by CEO.
  • Reporting the progress of these products.
  • Report on Google Ads performance and competition.
  • Compile monthly marketing reports.
  • Tracking & analysing marketing execution.
  • Generate Group marketing reports as required.
  • Ensure Copywriting requirements are always adhered to.
KEY JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • QUALIFICATIONS
  • Grade 12 with at least 1 or 2 additional short course certifications.
  • EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role.
  • KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
  • Skilled in Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Google AdWords, Social Media Marketing, and Adobe Photoshop, Google Ads, Google Analytics and WordPress.
  • Familiarity with marketing principles, strategies, and best practices.
  • SKILL REQUIREMENTS
  • Proficiency in Adobe photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Canva.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
