PURPOSE OF THE JOBThe Marketing Coordinator is responsible for working closely with Buying, VM, Retail, Media, and Suppliers, in addition to collaborating with the Marketing team. This role ensures all production elements related to the Marketing department are executed timeously and accurately within a specified budget.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESCoordinating CampaignsBrief and manage jobs on RMS system (internal briefing software system)Liaise with internal and external partners/suppliers to ensure all marketing material is produced, printed and delivered according to the Timing Plan.Manage samples and all sample-related administrationCreate and send purchase orders for all jobsCreate printing DIs for all marketing materialBrief and check instructions to stores on VMCoordinate internal and external eventsManaging meetings and diariesCollating CreativeSave and share all final Marketing material internallyCollate presentations and reports showcasing campaign creative and results ? Conduct monthly and ad hoc store visits for input into Post Campaign Analysis (eg. store windows, competitor activity etc)Facilitate Competition ProcessEnsure that prizes and vouchers are loaded and distributedEnsure that Terms and Conditions are created and loaded onto the websiteSelecting, verifying and contacting winnersDigitalCreative and effective digital copywriting and/or proof readingEnsure content calendar is populated and updated in order to brief media agencyMonitor and escalate customer feedback to community management teamPRBuild and maintain relationships with publishers and mall marketing managementSend weekly and monthly communication to all partnersRenaming and sending high res images for editorial briefsSpecial event activations and projects * AdministrationGoogle Drive filing of all campaign related material and documentationCompile Creative Review files and presentationsInvoice capturing and liaising with finance where required, before monthly cut-off dateMinutes of meetingsJOB INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTSBachelors Degree/Diploma in Marketing or related field (advantageous)A minimum of 2 years of brand / marketing experience.Knowledge of Indesign, Illustrator & photoshop is advantageousWeb administration experienceExperience with various CMS & website technologyExperience and understanding of the retail environment and a feel for dxc3xa9cor, trends and the retail market advantageous3 years experience in report writingStrong administration, planning, organising and coordination skillsComputer Literacy (MS Office and Google Suite)Relationship/networking skillsCompetencies required: Devotion to quality; Negotiating; Performing under pressure; Planning; Cooperation; Listening skills; Commercial Drive; Innovation
