  • Create captivating copy for digital and print campaigns, including website content, social media, email newsletters, brochures, and press releases.
  • Craft engaging narratives that reflect the estate's history, legacy, and luxury brand identity, incorporating art historical references to enhance the storytelling.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop creative concepts and align brand messaging with luxury lifestyle trends.
  • Tailor content for diverse markets, understanding the nuances required for both local South African and international audiences.
  • Support PR efforts by developing pitch materials, speeches, and event-related communications for high-profile wine launches, tastings, and cultural events.
  • Ensure consistency in tone and brand voice across all platforms, while maintaining the estate's sophisticated and premium positioning.
  • Work closely with graphic designers, photographers, and wine experts to ensure the aesthetic and cultural richness of the estate is reflected in all marketing materials.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and cultural insights to keep the brand's messaging fresh, relevant, and engaging.
RequirementsThe successful candidate must have/be:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Art History, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Must have a background in Art History, either via studies or within an art related environment.
  • A passion for art, culture, and history, with the ability to integrate these themes into storytelling.
  • Proven experience as a copywriter, preferably in the luxury, wine, or hospitality sector.
  • A strong interest in or knowledge of wine, fine dining, and luxury lifestyle brands is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to adapt to different tones and formats.
  • Experience writing for international markets is an advantage.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining high standards of work.
  • Strong collaboration skills, with experience working within a creative team.
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and digital marketing trends is a plus.
