As a Generalist Marketing Manager, As a Generalist Marketing Manager, youll play a key role in ensuring that our marketing strategies, messaging and visual identity, and operations align with our mission and contribute to our global impact.Purpose of the Role:The Generalist Marketing Manager is a versatile role responsible for overseeing the brand management, operational efficiency, and strategic direction of Ericksons marketing initiatives. This role is pivotal in managing our global brand, leading strategic projects, supporting PR and partnerships, and driving data analytics. Additionally, the Generalist Marketing Manager will play an essential role in managing and guiding the overall operations of the marketing department and course management. This includes managing Ericksons globally renowned courses and related assets on and off the website while developing effective communication plans to support them. The Generalist Marketing Manager will work closely with various teams and global partners to ensure that our brand resonates across all touchpoints.Key Responsibilities:Oversee Erickson's global brand presence, ensuring consistency and alignment with our mission across all channels.Project manage Erickson's global website.Lead and execute strategic marketing projects, including brand campaigns, partnerships, and new initiatives.Manage the organization and execution of marketing materials for each course, including the website, brochures, messaging, and content.Support PR initiatives and develop partnerships that align with Ericksons goals and values.Project management of key initiatives such as World Game, alumni gatherings and other brand building events.Leverage data analytics to inform marketing strategies, measure campaign effectiveness, and drive continuous improvement.Collaborate with the program team, sales team, and global partners to maintain cohesive brand messaging and effective marketing operations.Play a general management role within the marketing department, supporting departmental operations, team development, and strategic planning.Proactively seek opportunities to elevate the Erickson brand by identifying and leveraging platforms and initiatives to enhance brand visibility.Qualifications and Skills:Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar digital marketing brand role, preferably within a global company with multiple product lines.2+ years experience in Hubspot or a similar CRM.Experience in education, public relations, personal development, and both B2C and B2B markets is highly desirable.Proven experience working with agencies and managing brand campaigns.Strong copywriting and messaging skills, with a background in storybrand messaging.Expertise in project management, email creation, campaign development, brand management, and brochure conceptualization.Highly organized, detail-oriented, and tech-savvy with a proactive approach to problem-solving.Core Competencies:Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.Conscientious and consumer-focused with a strong ability to tell compelling brand stories.Data-driven, innovative, and passionate about brand management.Confident in running global campaigns and managing multiple projects simultaneously.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.Reporting Structure:This role reports directly to the Head of Global Marketing and Communications.Work Environment and Culture:This is a fully remote role, requiring global collaboration across time zones, with the HQ meetings taking place in PST. Although Erickson does not have offices outside of Canada, we offer long-term contracts for independent contractors based anywhere in the world. As an independent contractor, you will need to provide your own computer, Wi-Fi, and equipment. You will receive paid time off and Canadian Public holidays.
