Job Description


JOB DESCRIPTION:The Marketing manager is responsible for developing, implementing and executing strategic marketing plans for an entire organization (or lines of business and brands within an organization) in order to attract potential customers and retain existing ones.REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree or Diploma in marketing or a related field.
  • 2 years minimum experience in a similar position.
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Web-Trends etc).
  • Demonstrable experience in marketing together with potential and attitude required to learn.
  • Proven experience in identifying target audiences and in creatively devising and leading across channels, marketing campaigns that engage, educate and motivate.
  • Numerically literate, comfortable working with numbers, making sense of metrics and processing figures with spreadsheets.
  • Experience in structuring and rolling out a budget.
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.
  • Experience in E-commerce not required but will benefit.
  • Experience with managing people.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage and coordinate all marketing, advertising and promotional activities within the marketing department.
  • Develop the marketing budget and strategy in line with company objectives.
  • Formulate and manage strategic marketing objectives and ensure that these are reached within the parameters of the annual marketing budget.
  • Analyse customer research, current market conditions and competitor information.
  • Manage and oversee the conceptual establishment and roll-out of all mediums (online, print, digital, email and event-based campaigns).
  • Deploy successful marketing campaigns and own their implementation from ideation to execution.
  • Provide marketing tracking, analysis and summarizing data and trends.
  • Produce valuable and engaging content for company websites and communication channels that attracts and converts target groups.
  • Build strategic relationships and partner with key industry players, agencies and vendors.
  • Responsible for overall brand management and corporate identity of the various company brands.
  • Manage and improve lead generation campaigns with sales activities.
  • Responsible for companywide communication to various department and managers concerning marketing events and activities.
  • Work in conjunction with department heads to develop sales driven marketing campaigns and internal/external incentives.
  • Oversee direct communication and co-ordination with suppliers and customers pertaining to company events and sponsorships.
  • Work closely with various departmental heads and branch managers to ensure online and branch specials are run consistently.
  • Work closely with web developers and IT with the day-to-day management, functionality and growth of the E-commerce store.
