Purpose of the Role:The client is seeking a dynamic and strategic Marketing Manager to drive our brand presence, lead marketing initiatives,
and support business growth within the wholesale industry.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies, managing campaigns, and ensuring alignment with business
objectives to enhance customer engagement and sales.Qualification and Skills:

  • Bachelorxe2x80x99s degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
  • Desktop Publishing
  • 6-8 years of marketing experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role (agency or in-house preferred).
  • Expertise in strategic planning, communications, marketing, and media relations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Ads, and SEO best practices.
  • Experience in B2B e-commerce platforms (advantageous).
  • Technical knowledge of social media and email marketing platforms.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in the below Adobe Creative Cloud programs
  • InDesign
  • Illustrator
  • Photoshop
  • After Effects
  • Designing promotional leaflets in InDesign
  • Deep-etching images in Photoshop and saving them correctly
  • Creating packaging in Illustrator
  • Creating and editing videos and material for social media
Marketing and Compliance:
  • Ensure all marketing communication is accurate, relevant, and aligned with brand standards.
  • Monitor and manage monthly marketing spend, keeping it within approved budgets
Key Performance Areas:
  • Develop, establish, and maintain marketing strategies aligned with sales objectives.
  • Oversee marketing, advertising, and promotional activities to enhance brand visibility.
  • Create and produce advertising and marketing materials that align with company strategies.
  • Manage and monitor the marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective execution.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a creative team within the marketing department.
  • Conduct market research on product trends, routes to market, and industry innovations
Marketing Strategy & Brand Management:
  • Develop and execute marketing plans for new and existing products/brands.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials and communication.
  • Manage corporate identity and brand awareness strategies.
  • Conduct market research to assess trends and opportunities.
  • Monitor ROI and campaign effectiveness, making data-driven improvements.
Creative Development & Content Management:
  • Research, compile, and issue design briefs to the creative team, ensuring timely execution.
  • Oversee creative execution from concept to final presentation.
  • Maintain quality control over all creative work, ensuring alignment with budgets and objectives.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to develop advertising and promotional campaigns.
Digital & E-Commerce Marketing:
  • Drive the companyxe2x80x99s online strategy, optimizing SEO and Google Analytics insights.
  • Oversee the B2B e-commerce platform, ensuring its success and continuous improvement.
  • Manage social media marketing, email campaigns, and digital advertising efforts.
  • Ensure the product library complies to online distributor standards.
Trade & Event Marketing:
  • Plan, manage, and execute trade show events, industry exhibitions, and internal conferences.
  • Coordinate promotional activities with external production houses, license holders, and partners.
  • Ensure timely contract renewals and trademark registrations where applicable.
Stakeholder & Team Collaboration:
  • Liaise with sales reps, category managers, IT, and finance to ensure marketing alignment.
  • Maintain effective internal communication to keep all departments informed.
  • Supervise, mentor, and introduce innovative execution methods to the creative team.
Operations, Budget & Reporting:
  • Manage multiple projects from concept to completion, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Track and analyse marketing metrics, preparing monthly reports on department output.
  • Ensure compliance with allocated marketing budgets and company financial guidelines.
  • Collect quotes, process invoices, and liaise with external vendors for promotional materials.
  • Stay updated with industry best practices by attending training and networking events.
