Job Description


Purpose:To contribute to the delivery of overall business objectives by delivering brand objectives through the development and management of market and brand strategies and the detailed execution thereof. Achieving this through, and maintaining, a motivated and productive team - working with internal colleagues across the business and external partners - whilst protecting the interests of the company - financially, ethically and creating a sustainable future.Requirements:

  • Min 10 years experience in Senior Brand or Marketing Management experience
Duties include:
  • Develop and execute annual strategy market and brands plans to support company objectives.
  • Manage, maintain and grow the brand equity through clear brand identity and positioning.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer insights to identify growth opportunities and potential risks
  • Manage the profitability of the brands by tightly managing the annual budgets - thereby delivering against margin and profit objectives across the portfolio.
  • Develop, manage, co-ordinate and execute marketing campaigns across various channels including digital, social and traditional media to drive brand desirability
  • Analyse campaign performance metrics to assess effectiveness of spend and adjust future executions based on insight derived.
  • Track and analyse the productivity of the product portfolio - propose and develop solutions to complement/enhance the offering. Manage from initiation to launch - ensuring that all required processes are delivered to ensure alignment to overall business strategy, collaborating with all relevant internal and external parties.
  • Drive the visibility of the portfolio through the sales teams - by the developing of relevant material including store signage, POS, parasite units and store activations.
  • Manage campaign and promotional in-trade executional excellence as per the agreed activity plan - track the success thereof.
  • Develop and implement digital marketing campaigns across appropriate media channels.
  • Monitor and analyse social media performance, engagement and consumer feedback to inform content strategies.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify consumer trends, preferences and opportunities.
  • Manage quality and product performance through test baking and tracking of competitor product performance
  • Monitor and understand baking and cooking trends that enable recipe development that ensure products remain current and contemporary
  • Ensure that all marketing brand guidelines are adhered to through documented brand identity, packaging spec sheets and design guidelines.
