Qualifications Required:

  • Bcom Marketing, Communications or similar
Skills and experience required:
  • Experience in a retail brand would be advantageous
  • Minimum 5 years experience as a Marketing Manager
  • An active lifestyle is a huge advantage as this is an active-wear apparel company
  • Digital marketing experience with Meta Business Suite is non negotiable
  • An understanding of the latest trends and their role within a commercial environment.
Job description:
  • Report to the Operations Manager
  • Manage a Graphic Designer and Customer Relations Manager
  • The Marketing Manager will manage developing company brand strategy and marketing plans for the brand
  • Marketing functions including branding, communication channels, product development, online and offline promotions, and market research.
  • New store marketing
  • Ensure that all marketing elements/attributes for all new stores are tracked and master sheets are maintained.
  • Ensure all new stores marketing is correct and on brand.
  • Developing and managing advertising campaigns
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of campaigns and ROI
  • Manage the marketing budget
  • Conducting market research and reports for management
  • Conducting promotional activities
  • Brainstorming new marketing initiatives
  • Building brand awareness and positioning
  • Communicating the marketing plan with management team
  • Develop pricing strategies
  • Monitoring marketing and sales success
  • Overseeing marketing campaigns
  • Analyze trends and adapt marketing strategies to keep up with the market trends
  • Assist with product development
  • Develop monthly promotion and seasonal sale ideas to increase sales revenue & create brand awareness and roll out on time and within budget.
  • Maintenance of in-store music database and licencing, negotiation and site list for supplier.
  • Manage online / digital social media, marketing and website
  • Direct the Digital Marketing strategy for the brand in ensuring the web/ecommerce site is always up to date with the correct products, descriptions, prices etc.
  • Ensuring products are added timeously to online catalouges.
  • Direct the Graphic Designer in regards to artwork and content, oversee and approve social media plans and advertising.
  • Create and manage distribution of electronic newsletter
  • Reporting on click-through rate and ecommerce revenue and ROI
  • Integration with lead submission actions
  • Integration with CRM communication actions
