Job Description


We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Marketing Manager to lead our marketing efforts and drive growth for our lending business.The ideal candidate will have an understanding of the financial services industry and possess proven experience in developing and executing successful marketing strategies in a B2B context.
This role will report directly to the executive in charge of this portfolio and will work closely with our credit, portfolios, and IT teams.
Our marketing efforts are based on strategy, research, deliberate segmentation & targeting, constant refinement, and no hard sales. This means that the marketing department requires an individual who is a critical thinker with technical empathy and is techno-savvy, as our company uses numerous marketing platforms and software tools
As a Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for creating and implementing marketing strategies and plans. The role will include, but is not limited to:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans to improve the acquisition of qualified customers that meet our criteria.
  • Utilize the CRM database to convert previous customer inquiries into qualified prospects through targeted marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the portfolio team to align marketing strategies with business objectives and sales targets.
  • Drive go-to-market efforts of tailored products.
  • Manage online marketing initiatives, including website content, SEO, SEM, and online advertising campaigns.
  • Oversee social media marketing efforts to engage with our target audience and drive brand awareness.
  • Utilize Google Ads and other online advertising platforms to reach potential customers effectively.
  • Cultivate relationships with referral partners to generate qualified leads and increase customer acquisition.
  • Analyze marketing performance metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and optimize strategies accordingly.
  • Coordinate and attend events, including programs and third-party hosted gatherings.
  • Manage internal communications.
Desired Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Politics, Philosophy, and Economics (PPE), or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on B2B marketing.
  • Ability to research and understand context to inform strategy.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to innovate and adapt to changing market dynamics.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful marketing strategies that drive business results.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Content writing skills.
  • Experience with Google Analytics, CRM software systems, and WordPress themes.
  • Proficiency or ability and willingness to learn various marketing platforms and software tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
