Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Manager to oversee all marketing activities for our prestigious game lodge. The lodge is renowned for its luxury accommodations, wildlife experiences, and eco-tourism initiatives. The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to promote the lodge, attract guests, and enhance brand visibility both locally and internationally.POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

• Developing Marketing Strategies: Creating comprehensive marketing plans that align with the overall business goals of the

establishment. This involves identifying target markets, understanding customer preferences, and planning promotional activities. * Digital Marketing: Overseeing the digital presence of the establishment, including website management, social media marketing, online advertising campaigns, email marketing, and search engine optimization (SEO). This is crucial for reaching and engaging with potential guests online.

• Brand Management: Maintaining and enhancing the brand image of the hospitality establishment. This includes ensuring consistency in messaging, visuals, and customer experience across all marketing channels.
• Advertising and Promotion: Planning and executing advertising campaigns across various media channels such as print, online, radio, and possibly television. This may also involve partnerships with travel agencies, online booking platforms, and other relevant businesses.
• Market Research and Analysis: Conducting market research to understand industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences. Analyzing data to make informed decisions and adjustments to marketing strategies.
• Public Relations: Managing public relations activities to maintain a positive public image. This includes handling media relations, organizing press releases, responding to media inquiries, and potentially managing crisis communications.
• Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Implementing strategies to build and maintain relationships with customers. This might involve loyalty programs, personalized marketing efforts, and gathering feedback to improve guest satisfaction.
• Collaboration with Other Departments: Working closely with sales, operations, and other departments to ensure cohesive marketing efforts that support overall business objectives. This includes coordinating promotional activities for events, conferences, and special offers.
• Budget Management: Developing and managing the marketing budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to achieve maximum return on investment (ROI).
• Monitoring and Reporting: Tracking the performance of marketing campaigns and initiatives, measuring key performance indicators (KPIs), and preparing regular reports for management. Using analytics to assess the effectiveness of strategies and making recommendations for improvements.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Marketing Manager or similar role, within the hospitality or travel industry.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create engaging content and compelling marketing copy.
• Creative thinker with a passion for travel, wildlife, and eco-tourism.
• Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Bachelorxe2x80x99s degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or a related field.
• Experience in brand management and public relations is a plus.
