Job Summary Our client in Dubai is seeking a Mason Foreman who is prepared to relocate and become part of their dynamic team.Applicants from Northern Cape, Mpumalanga, Kwa-Zulu Natal (Durban) and Limpopo are encouraged to apply.Requirements:

• Relevant Diploma/Degree or equivalent.
• Must have a Bricklaying/similar trade test.
• Must have 3-4 years experience in a similar role.
• Must have experience in a management position.
• Must have a valid passport.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate the activities of masons and labourers on construction sites, ensuring work is completed efficiently and to high-quality standards.
• Plan and schedule masonry work in alignment with project timelines, ensuring that tasks are completed on schedule.
• Conduct regular inspections of masonry work to ensure compliance with specifications, standards, and safety regulations.
• Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret construction drawings and plans, providing guidance to the team on specific project requirements.
• Materials Management: Manage the ordering and delivery of materials, ensuring they are available when needed and stored properly on site.
• Training and Mentorship: Train and mentor less experienced masons and labourers, providing instruction on techniques, safety practices, and equipment usage.
• Problem-Solving: Identify and address any issues that arise during construction, finding effective solutions to maintain progress.
• Safety Compliance: Enforce health and safety regulations on site, conducting safety briefings and ensuring all team members use personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Communication: Liaise with project managers, other trades, and clients to provide updates on progress and address any concerns.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of work progress, materials used, and any incidents that occur on site.
