Mechanic Transportation
Job Description
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on all transportation vehicles, including engines, electrical systems, and other mechanical components- Diagnose and troubleshoot any mechanical issues that arise, and perform necessary repairs- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed- Order and maintain inventory of spare parts and supplies- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while working on vehicles- Collaborate with other team members to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in transportation technologyRequirements:- High school diploma or equivalent- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a mechanic, preferably in the transportation industry- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and engines- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills- Ability to work independently and in a team environment- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills- Willingness to work flexible hours and be on call for emergency repairs- Valid driver's license and clean driving record- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
