MINIMUM SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

Understand and know how to read and produce technical drawings
Strong working knowledge of Drawing package - Inventor
A proven track record in a similar environment
Manage and schedule drawing projects to delivery dates
Minimum of 2 years of drawing working as a Mechanical Design Draughtsman using Inventor
National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Draughting equivalent advantageous.
Exposure to manufacturing environment.
Should be able to perform simple mechanical calculations.
Computer literacy in MS Office packages
Experience with ERP / BOM systems would be an advantage

BEHAVIOURAL CHARACTERISTICS REQUIRED

Excellent planning and organizing skills are essential
Ability to communicate clearly in English, written and verbal
Ability to read, interpret, and produce technical drawings to Engineering standards
Attention to detail
Resourceful and efficient under pressure
