Assist with the preparation of tenders, quotations, and proposals
Create specifications, reports, and design documents, including design basis documents, technical specifications, and design reports
Conduct calculations and Finite Element Method (FEM) analyses.
Participate in concept development, identification, and trade-off processes
Carry out design and modeling tasks
Supervise the detailed design process
Provide engineering support throughout project fabrication, implementation, and commissioning
Take part in Design Reviews
Identify and address project risks, implementing approved mitigation plans
Conduct thorough reviews of both personal work and that of colleagues
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, including Class Society and Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) standardsSkills & Experience:
Knowledge and experience across sectors including Mining, Oil and Gas, Mineral Processing, or Heavy Engineering
Possess 1-2 years of technical expertise
Proven proficiency in both verbal and written communication
Exceptional organizational skills
Ability to thrive under pressure
Attentive to detail with a keen eye for accuracy
Flexible to accommodate demanding schedules and fluctuating hours to meet project deadlines
Readiness to travel when necessary
Dedicated team player mindset
Capable of working autonomously with minimal supervision
Self-driven, organized, and goal-oriented
Proficient in software applications such as Word, Excel, and MS Project
Familiar with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software like AutoCAD, Solidworks, or Inventor
Access to personal transportationQualification:
Possession of a B-Tech, BSc, or BEng degree in Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering
