Job Description
What Were Looking For:
- Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
- BTech or BEng Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Design Engineer
- SolidEdge and/or CAD experience (we love the detail you bring to your designs!)
- A valid drivers license and your own transport to get you where the action is
- Knowledge of Axis, Pumps, Motors, Bearings, Heat Treatment, and more!
- Design and draw all things mechanical: from new ideas to improvements on existing designs
- Use your creativity to develop processes, production units, machine parts, and plant components
- Take your designs through testing and manufacturing, bringing them to life in the real world!
- Assist the maintenance team in modifying machinery for optimum performance
- Maintain accurate records of all drawings and designs
- Collaborate with R&D, Plant, and Project Engineers to turn ideas into reality
