Requirements:

At least 85% average in Matric - NON-NEGOTIABLE. Candidates not meeting this requirement will unfortunately not be considered.
Passion for vehicles/automotive industry.
Passion for mechanical design (CAD) and manufacturing.
Willing to work with your hands.
Autodesk Inventor & Vault experience (optional, beneficial).

Responsibilities/Description:

Research and Development - Automotive/Military.
The candidate must be comfortable with working in the Military Industry.
Knowledge of Vehicles, Vehicle Components and the Automotive Industry is an advantage.
Knowledge of Local & International Military Industry and Equipment is an advantage.
Design of various components for use in Military Vehicles.
Concept Development, Full Detail Design, Creating ISO Standard Manufacturing Drawings, and Overseeing Manufacture of Products.
Work with a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment.
Write technical documentation.
Structural analysis (FEA) and Design Optimization.
Liaise with Local and International Suppliers.
Project Management.
The candidate needs to be a self-starter with attention to detail and bring a positive energy to the work environment, with a willingness to excel in their role.
The candidate must be self-sufficient and able to manage their time and complete tasks within a set deadline.
