Job Description

The Mechanical Design Engineer will play a key role in designing and developing innovative bulk material handling systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in structural and mechanical design for heavy-duty equipment, strong CAD skills, and a solid understanding of material flow dynamics.Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop bulk material handling systems, including conveyors, feeders, hoppers, and transfer chutes.
• Create detailed 3D models and technical drawings using CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor, or similar).
• Conduct structural and mechanical analysis to ensure durability and performance.
• Work closely with project teams to develop customized solutions for clients.
• Optimize designs for manufacturability, cost-effectiveness, and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with fabrication and production teams to ensure seamless execution.
• Generate detailed engineering documentation, including BOMs, specifications, and reports.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and client requirements.

Candidate Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in mechanical design, preferably within bulk material handling or heavy industrial equipment.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling and drafting software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of structural design, steel fabrication, and wear-resistant materials.
• Understanding of material flow principles, chute design, and conveyor dynamics.
• Experience with FEA (Finite Element Analysis) and stress analysis is a plus.
• Ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
