Job Description
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and developing bespoke pneumatic conveying and storage systems, working closely with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure robust and efficient designs.Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop mechanical components and systems for pneumatic conveying and silo storage solutions.
- Create 3D CAD models and detailed engineering drawings using software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
- Perform stress analysis, material selection, and technical calculations to ensure design integrity.
- Collaborate with project engineers, manufacturing teams, and clients to deliver customized solutions.
- Conduct design reviews, feasibility studies, and continuous improvements on existing systems.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (ATEX, ISO, etc.).
- Support installation and commissioning teams with technical guidance when required.
Proven experience in mechanical design within pneumatic conveying, bulk materials handling, or process engineering.
Strong CAD skills (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).
Knowledge of fabrication, sheet metal, and structural design.
Experience with calculations for pressure, flow, and structural integrity.
Understanding of industry standards (ATEX, ISO, etc.) is highly desirable.
