Join a pioneering supplier of liquid filling solutions, revolutionizing the packaging and filling industry with state-of-the-art machinery. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, become an integral part of one of South Africa's premier packaging systems design and manufacturing firms.POSITION INFO::
Generate efficient designs prioritizing simplicity, feasibility, cost-efficiency, and accuracy. Create detailed manufacturing drawings adhering to acknowledged manufacturing standards. Compile part specifications, Bill of Materials (BOMs), production orders, and manuals
Implement engineering change proposals (ECPs) on designs
Issue revisions and updates to manufacturing drawings, material lists, and machine manuals. Lay out customer manufacturing areas
Draft Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID)
Provide technical support during manufacturing processes and for on-site techniciansSkills & Experience:
Minimum of 3 years' experience in machine design and manufacturing. Minimum of 2 years' CAD experience
Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and 2D CAD. Competence in 3D CAD machine design
Ability to work independently and within a team. Willingness to travel nationally and internationallyQualification:
