Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop mechanical components and systems for aerospace and defense applications.
Conduct engineering analysis, including structural, thermal, and vibration assessments.
Create detailed 3D models and technical drawings using industry-standard CAD software.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical, manufacturing, and testing engineers.
Ensure compliance with aerospace and defense industry regulations and standards.
Participate in design reviews and provide technical input throughout the product development lifecycle.
Optimize designs for manufacturability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.

Requirements:

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
5+ years experience in mechanical design within the aerospace and defense industry.
Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, or Creo).
Strong knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and GD&T.
Experience with finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) is advantageous.
Familiarity with military and aerospace standards.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-security environment.
