Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Design and analyse mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Develop innovative solutions for complex engineering challenges.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate mechanical designs into larger projects.
- Conduct tests and simulations to validate design concepts and improve functionality.
- Prepare detailed documentation, including specifications, technical reports, and project plans.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to ensure successful delivery.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in mechanical engineering.
- Preparation of designs or drawings as required.
- Bachelors degree (BEng or BSc) or BTech in Mechanical Engineering.
- Registered as a Candidate Engineer with ECSA; Professional Engineer (PrEng) registration is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Proficiency in mechanical design software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and materials science.
- Excellent project management skills, including planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
- A proactive and adaptable mindset, able to work independently and as part of a team.
