Job SummaryHire Resolve is currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our client's reputable engineering firm in Johannesburg.As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and improving mechanical systems, equipment, and processes in various projects.Responsibilities

• Developing mechanical plans and designs based on project requirements.
• Conducting research and analysis to determine the best design options and materials.
• Creating technical drawings and specifications using CAD software.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
• Performing calculations, simulations, and testing to validate and optimize designs.
• Identifying and troubleshooting mechanical issues and providing solutions.
• Preparing project reports, documentation, and cost estimates.
• Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Staying up to date with advances in mechanical engineering and incorporating new technologies and techniques as appropriate.

Requirements

• B-Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in building services industry
• 5-10 years' experience
• Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant engineering tools.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment, and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in design work.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
