Job Description


Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • No prior work experience required; recent graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Advanced Excel skills (mandatory)
  • Python and coding experience (preferred but not required)
  • Basic understanding of thermodynamics, refrigeration, and mechanical systems
  • Familiarity with engineering software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar) is beneficial
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct technical research on refrigeration, HVAC, and mechanical system designs
  • Analyse new trends and emerging technologies to improve system efficiency
  • Assist in evaluating new components, materials, and manufacturing techniques
  • Support Design Engineers in creating technical documentation and design calculations
  • Perform engineering analysis, simulations, and data modelling
  • Develop and maintain engineering tools, including Excel-based models and Python scripts
  • Assist in streamlining engineering processes and improving documentation standards
  • Support the implementation of selection tools for Sales Engineers to enhance efficiency
  • Collaborate with the Engineering team to ensure high-quality designs and product reliability
  • Work closely with other Engineering disciplines, Production teams, and Sales teams
  • Provide technical assistance
  • Participate in meetings and assist in preparing engineering reports
  • Gain an understanding of industry regulations and compliance requirements
  • Assist in ensuring that designs meet required standards and guidelines
