Job SummaryHire Resolve's client, a leading engineering consultancy in Pretoria, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join their team.As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for various tasks in the field of mechanical engineering, including design, analysis, and project management.Responsibilities

• Designing and analyzing mechanical systems and components.
• Preparing engineering drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
• Performing calculations and simulations to ensure system performance and efficiency.
• Managing projects from concept to completion, ensuring adherence to budgets and timelines.
• Liaising with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide technical guidance.
• Conducting site inspections and evaluations to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
• Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues that arise during the construction or operation of mechanical systems.
• Keeping up-to-date with industry trends, codes, and regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) registration with ECSA.
• Proficient in engineering design software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, codes, and standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Valid driver's license.
