Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and modify detailed CAD models and drawings for sheet metal components using software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
- Develop precise engineering specifications and drawings for fabrication.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are optimized for production and meet all project requirements.
- Assist in conducting engineering analysis, calculations, and testing to verify performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve design-related challenges, recommending improvements as needed.
- Support project documentation, tracking changes, and maintaining accurate records of design iterations.
- Education: Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: 0-2 years of experience in mechanical design, with specific exposure to sheet metal components.
- Skills: Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or equivalent); knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes.
- Attributes: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, keen attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
