Job Description
RPO Recruitment is currently partnering with a reputable mining company in the North West region to find a skilled Mechanical Engineering Foreman. As the Mechanical Engineering Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the maintenance activities of mechanical equipment at the mining site.Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate the mechanical maintenance team
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance plans
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures
- Analyze equipment performance and recommend improvements
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and equipment history
- Certified trade test certificate (Section 13 or 26D) Fitter or Fitter and Turner preferable
- Intimate knowledge of plant and plant equipment
- Minimum 3 years' Mechanical Foreman experience within the mining industry
- At least 6 years related industry experience
- Equipment maintenance experience is essential
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Salary: negotiable
