Mechanical Mining Business Development Manager

Minimum requirements and experience:

BEng (Mechanical Engineering) or related
Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a Business Development Manager in the mining industry.
Excellent track record of applied engineering and product data management.
Experience in underground mining and specifically mechanised mining equipment.
Sound communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities:

Focus on capital (new sales) and aftermarket segments.
Developing and maintaining healthy professional relationships with stakeholders.
Managing operations within geographical area of responsibility.
Implement business strategy
Budgets
Sales and marketing
Networking with industry professionals and stakeholders in the mining sector.
Travelling to mines and underground visits to assess problems and determine suitability of mining machinery for the application.
