Mechanical Engineer required to assist with Project Engineering responsibilities. Automotive field. The company is a leader in gearbox manufacturing, Gearbox improvements, gearbox design, and remanufactured gearboxes for transmission and differential service. (Manual or automatic passenger vehicles, 4X4s, heavy commercial vehicles or buses, trucks, or earth-moving equipment).POSITION INFO:
Mechanical Project Engineer (Automotive supplier)Johannesburg SouthQualification:

• BTech/ National Diploma in
• 5 years of working experience

Skills required:

• Experience in Hydraulic, Pneumatics and Mechanical.

Responsibilities:

• Will work as the only engineer in the Quality and R&D department.
• Utilize skills in electronics, Hydraulics, and Mechanical aspects ensuring gearboxes are correctly refurbished and manufactured/assembled
• Perform project management of all the Gearbox System.
• Technical interaction with artisans and technicians
• Analysis reports
• Client liaison
• Working to deadlines

Personality:

• Methodical.
• Good people skills and the ability to work with artisans and other technicians.
