Job Description
A respected engineering consulting firm based in Cape Town, is seeking a Revit & CAD Operator to join their Mechanical department. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and detail-oriented drafter to contribute to exciting engineering projects across commercial, residential, and industrial sectors.Key Responsibilities:
- Produce accurate 2D and 3D mechanical drawings using Revit and AutoCAD.
- Draft HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and fire-fighting systems.
- Collaborate with engineers and design teams to interpret project requirements.
- Create and manage Revit families and templates.
- Review, update, and maintain technical documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure technical accuracy and on-time delivery.
- Diploma or degree in Engineering Technology, Architecture, Building Design, or similar.
- Minimum 2-5 years' experience in a mechanical drafting role, preferably in a consulting environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD (2D & 3D).
- Familiarity with BIM workflows and drawing standards.
- Valid drivers license & own vehicle
- Salary: negotiable.
