Job Description
RPO Recruitment's client, a well-established mechanical and electrical consulting firm in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town, is currently seeking a dedicated and hardworking Mechanical Technician or Technologist who can join their dynamic team as soon as possible.Requirements
- National Diploma or BTech degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 5-8 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in mechanical engineering services such as HVAC, fire, and wet services working on projects in the municipal and private sector
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Carrier HAP, MS Office (Revit MEP proficiency advantageous)
- Knowledge and experience on how to integrate different software packages
- Professional registration or eligible to register with ECSA as Pr Tech or Pr Techni Eng advantageous
- Ability to work from feasibility and concept development stages of projects through to the detailed design and project execution
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, working under pressure, setting goals and being self-driven
- Valid driverxe2x80x99s license with own reliable transport
- Sound interpersonal and good verbal and written communication skills (at least two of the following languages: Afrikaans, English, Xhosa)
