Mechatronic/mechanical Engineer Cape Town
Job Description
We offer a dynamic, multidisciplinary work environment where we design and develop every aspect of our products from firmware and electronics to mechanics and plastics. Proudly South African, we manufacture primarily for the Southern African market in our Cape Town factory. However, as part of the global SPA group, our products reach over 100 countries worldwide.We are seeking a qualified engineer to take ownership of the mechanical design and development of both new and existing products.Desired Experience & QualificationOur ideal candidate would have:
- B.Tech/B.Sc Eng/B.Eng or equivalent required)
- Experience in mechanical design (SolidWorks preferable)
- FEA experience (SolidWorks preferable)
- Keen interest in designing products and solutions for manufacturing
- Hands-on abilities
- Positive, innovative attitude
- Worm and wheel geartrain design
- Computer aided machining
- 3D printing
- Basic programming experience (C, Python)
