The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in a medical front desk role or as an executive assistant, with a proven track record in a senior position. We require someone who can handle a busy, high-pressure environment with ease, demonstrating excellent emotional intelligence and stress management skills.Key Responsibilities:- Manage front desk operations, including patient check-in and scheduling.- Provide exemplary customer service to patients, especially during vulnerable moments.- Handle difficult situations with professionalism and empathy.- Efficiently manage emails and other communications.- Assist with medical billing and liaise with theatres- Maintain a welcoming and organized front office environment.Requirements:- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in a senior medical receptionist role or client care.- English first language proficiency- Exceptional interpersonal skills and a warm, approachable personality.- Strong understanding of the Cape Town clientele, particularly sophisticated and high-end patients.- Knowledge of surgical procedures, specifically gastroenterology and endoscopy, is a plus but not mandatory.- Excellent computer literacy and proficiency in email communications.- Reliable transportation to and from the practice.- Willingness to work from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Mon-Fri with flexibility for extended hours as needed.
