Job Description


Key Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

  • Work closely with company's stakeholder relations manager and business affairs team and be able to manage recruitment and engagement with members and other stakeholders.
  • Understand and know the company portal in order to assist with works.
  • Actively recruit, track and manage new members in the organization.
  • Executing the stakeholder and organizations strategy.
  • Write and distribute press releases for the organization.
  • Attend departmental meetings and provide input.
  • Compile and submit weekly reports for MANCOM and to the stakeholder relations manager.
  • Respond to members and other stakeholder's queries in a speedily time frame.
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the team and departments within the organization.
  • Create and manage member profiles.
  • Receive and review the unidentified digital active works list and be able process the unidentified digital active works list.
  • Manage, attend, and assist the stakeholder relations manager with member workshops, events and other collaborative workshops.
  • Record minutes, collect feedback and generate their own report post workshops.
  • Be comfortable and able to speak and engage publicly with members as/when required.
  • Assist in managing and taking care of the organizations branding and merchandise.
  • Manage the social media team, assist in creating posts for organizations social media pages and track progress.
  • Update and provide bi-weekly reports to stakeholder relations manager pertaining social media.
  • Compile and provide weekly/monthly reports to stakeholder relations manager about new members, weekly work completed and any queries.
  • Be comfortable in engaging with the CEO and EXCO team and provide them with information as and when they need it.
  • Be able to work flexible hours and travel.
Minimum Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge:
  • Basic Microsoft Excel
  • Basic Microsoft Word
  • Basic Microsoft Access
  • General Computer skills
  • Good Communication skills
  • Good reading and writing skills
  • Understanding of the music industry and CMO landscape
  • Good customer relations and people skills
  • Ability to research and admin capture
  • Willing to learn systems provided by the company
  • Be able to take and execute instructions very well
  • Ability to delegate team members while working on their work.
  • Ability to meet deadline dates and work well under pressure attention to detail and ensure accuracy in work they are doing.
  • Be able to take full responsibility in their work.
  • At least two years' work experience in the music industry, client engagement and management, reporting and communication.
  • A diploma/degree or NQF 6 and above in Communications/Public Relations/Journalism.
