Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) Engineer for a UAE project. As an MEP Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, coordination, and implementation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for various projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in MEP engineering, strong technical skills, and the ability to manage complex projects effectively.Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and engineering of MEP systems for commercial, residential, and industrial projects.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure MEP systems meet project requirements and standards.
• Conduct site visits and assessments to gather data and assess existing MEP systems.
• Prepare detailed design drawings, specifications, and calculations.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to integrate MEP systems with architectural and structural elements.
• Review and approve shop drawings, submittals, and RFIs (Requests for Information) during the construction phase.
• Perform quality control checks and inspections to ensure MEP systems are installed correctly and function as intended.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and project teams.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in MEP engineering.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards related to MEP systems.
• Proficiency in MEP design software (e.g., AutoCAD MEP, Revit MEP).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Experience with sustainable design practices and energy efficiency initiatives is a plus.
