Job Description
Our client in the retail industry is seeking an experienced Merchandise Planner with a replenishment background/FMCG/ Beauty to join their team ASAP.Requirements:
- Matric qualification is essential.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Merchandising, Retail management, or a related field.
- Minimum 2+ experience in a similar role.
- Experience in Fragrance/Beauty/ FMCG is advantageous.
- Knowledge of retail/wholesale supply chain operations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to secure the best terms and product availability.
- Analyze market trends and customer preferences to make informed buying decisions.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to align product offerings with customer needs.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of stock.
- Conduct regular reviews of product performance and adjust buying strategies accordingly.
- Manage the entire product lifecycle, from selection and negotiation to delivery and performance analysis.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
