We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Mid-Level Desktop/Site Support Technician to join our team in Edenvale permanently on-site. As a Mid-Level Desktop/Site Support Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to end-users on-site. This role requires a strong understanding of Windows server and desktop environments, Office 365 applications, and basic networking concepts. You will work closely with the IT team to ensure the smooth operation of IT systems and contribute to the overall efficiency of the organization.
Minimum Requirements:
2 -3 years experience in a desktop support role, preferably in a mid-level capacity
Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional)
Strong knowledge of Windows server and desktop operating systems
Proficiency in Office 365 applications and administration
Basic understanding of networking principles and protocols
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide desktop support to end-users on-site, resolving technical issues promptly and effectively
Install, configure, and maintain Windows server and desktop operating systems
Manage Office 365 accounts, including troubleshooting and user support
Assist with basic networking tasks such as TCP/IP configuration, DNS management, and troubleshooting network connectivity issues
Respond to IT support tickets and service requests promptly, ensuring SLAs are met
Collaborate with the IT team to implement system upgrades and improvements
Document technical procedures and maintain accurate records of IT assets and configurations
Participate in IT projects as required, providing technical expertise and support
