The Role:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled

Mid-Level Hydraulic Fitter

with strong technical and problem-solving skills to join our Camperdown branch. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to play a key role in our operations by ensuring high-quality hydraulic repairs and installations while providing leadership and technical expertise to the team.

Key Responsibilities:

Assemble, install, maintain, and repair hydraulic systems and components with precision and efficiency. Diagnose faults, troubleshoot hydraulic machinery, and implement effective and timely solutions. Ensure all work complies with industry standards and safety regulations. Engage with clients to understand their hydraulic needs and deliver tailored, high-quality solutions. Oversee stock management and procurement of hydraulic parts and components. Collaborate with engineers and technical teams to optimize operational processes. Enforce health and safety protocols to maintain a safe and compliant workshop environment.

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years' proven experience as a hydraulic fitter, ideally within manufacturing, repair, and distribution. Strong technical, management, and leadership skills with the ability to supervise, mentor, and support a team. Comprehensive knowledge of hydraulic systems, components, and advanced repair techniques. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and analytical thinking. Strong communication and teamwork abilities to foster a collaborative and productive work environment. Relevant certifications in hydraulic fitting or mechanical engineering are highly desirable.
