Mid-Senior Multimedia Graphic & Web Designer (CPT Hybrid) IT - Designer
Cape Town - Western Cape - South AfricaENVIRONMENT:YOUR keen eye for beautiful digital visuals and experience is sought to fill the role of a Mid-Senior Multimedia Graphic & Web Designer wanted by a forward-thinking Digital Agency. This position requires someone who can blend Graphic Design, Web Design and Multimedia elements to create engaging digital experiences. You will require at least 4+ years work experience in a similar role with a solid understanding of Typography, layout and branding principles. The ideal candidate will also have extensive experience in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite & Canva along with a strong portfolio showcasing high-quality designs across the web and multimedia platforms.DUTIES:

• Graphic Design Create compelling visuals for websites, digital campaigns, social media and other marketing materials.
• Web Design & UI/UX Develop and design responsive web pages and landing pages using Figma and liaise with the Web team to execute your designs.
• Branding & Identity Develop, maintain and evolve brand guidelines, ensuring consistency across all digital and print materials for clients.
• Multimedia Content Creation: Design motion graphics, animations and interactive content for web, social media and other digital platforms.
• Social Media Graphics: Create engaging social media graphics using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Print Design: Develop print materials such as brochures, flyers, posters and other marketing collateral using Adobe Creative Suite.
• Collaboration: Work closely with Developers, Social Media Managers and Account Managers to bring creative concepts to life.
• Usability & Accessibility: Implement the best practices for user-centered design, accessibility and web standards.
• Project Management: Handle multiple projects efficiently, meet deadlines and ensure high-quality output.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 4+ Years of experience in Multimedia, Graphic Design and Web Design.
• Expertise in Figma for UI/UX design, prototyping and design collaboration.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, etc.).
• Experience designing for responsive and mobile-friendly websites.
• Ability to work on motion graphics and animations (After Effects or similar software is a plus).
• Strong understanding of Typography, layout and branding principles.
• Experience in Canva to create engaging social media graphics.
• Proficiency in print design using Adobe Creative Suite.
