Job Description


Artisan Millwright ensures efficient and effective operation of electric works, quick and effective mechanical repairsREQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/TRAINING

  • N3 or Grade 12
  • Trade Test: Millwright
REQUIRED MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum 3 years of post-trade certificate experience
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
  • Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance and repairs on plant equipment.
  • Perform inspections and breakdown repairs on production machinery/equipment.
  • Execute minor projects to improve facilities.
  • Keep the work area clean and ensure compliance with health and safety policies.
  • Manage time effectively to ensure efficient workflow.
TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE/ COMPETENCIES
  • Mechanical and Electrical inclined
  • Problem-solving
  • Crisis management
BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES
  • Time management
  • Self-starter, Hands-on
  • Work and operate independently
  • Ability to troubleshoot, remain calm and initiate effective solutions in crisis
