Millwright FacilitatorUitenhage - Eastern CapeThis is a 12 month fixed term contract position.Facilitate the theoretical and practical workshop training according to the required knowledge and practical modules of the trade. Create an environment that is conductive to learning both in the classroom and workshops. Develop learning material for training needs in the trade. Administration of student assessments. Assist with preparations for trade test and related duties. Assist with contracting workplaces for apprentice workplace experience. Assist with the screening and selection of apprentices. Attend relevant training workshops and apply knowledge where applicable. Keep up to date with the latest developments in field of study through work placement. Maintain discipline and safety of students at all times.The ability to transfer knowledge, skills and reflective competency to students. Planning and organising skills with the ability to plan and depart knowledge. Good communication, verbal and presentation with the ability to write reports.RequiredSenior certificate/ Grade 12 / NCV level 4Related Qualification National Diploma NQF 7 / Degree NQF 8or Relevant qualification at REQV13Must be a qualified Millwright artisan (trade tested)3 years + working experience as a Millwright in IndustryDrivers licenceKnowledge of OHS ActOccupational Training certificate / course would be advantageousComputer literate MS packages
