Job Description
Our Client are looking for a Trade Tested Millwright with 5+ years of experience in the manufacturing/engineering/mining industry to join their team.Requirements:
- Trade Tested Millwright qualification.
- 5+ years post-trade test experience in a similar role.
- Experience with PLC/VSD Drives and underground machinery.
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize workload.
- Must speak Afrikaans.
- Valid medical certificate (fit for underground work).
- Clear criminal record.
- Maintenance, repairs, and installation of mechanical & electrical equipment (surface & underground).
- PLC/VSD programming, fault finding, and panel wiring.
- Conduct safety checks and root cause analysis.
- Manage workshop repairs, stock, and attend to breakdowns with urgency.
- Ensure compliance with preventative maintenance schedules.
