Job Description
Role overview:
Ensure all machinery and equipment is maintained, using preventative maintenance schedules as well as attending to breakdowns. Minimize production downtime and ensure smooth running of the plant.
Duties:
- Maintain and repair machinery and equipment
- Maintain electric wiring in the plant building and facilities
- Facilitate and lead problem solving processes for continuous improvement
- Record and analyse breakdown trends per machine
- Ensure compliance with relevant Health, Safety and Environment requirements
- Trade test certificate or relevant experience as a fitter and an electrician
- Experience as a Fitter and Electrician in a manufacturing environment
