Job Description
TWK Agri has the following vacancy available: Millwright within the Grain division for our Grain storage facilities in and around Piet Retief, Mpumalanga.Responsibilities and Duties
- Installation of new grain handling equipment according to specifications
- Regular maintenance of handling equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Troubleshooting and repair of machinery breakdowns
- Performing preventative maintenance tasks to avoid costly downtime
- Collaborating with other team members to ensure efficient operations
- Following safety protocols and guidelines at all times according to OHS Act and company policies and procedures.
- Perform scheduled inspections with depot managers to identify each depots maintenance needs
- Material requirements planning
- Matric / Grade 12
- Qualified Millwright (Red Seal)
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a millwright in a similar role
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of industrial grain handling equipment and processes
- Ability to read technical drawings and manuals
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to do mechanical fabrication if needed
- Willing to work overtime if needed, i.e break stops
