Millwright - Isando, Gauteng - R180 Per HourKey Responsibilities:
Technical Expertise: Analyze faults and solve problems across various fields. Take ownership of workshop, technical infrastructure, and company vehicle.
Repairs: Rectify defective equipment efficiently, knowing when to innovate while following proper repair procedures.
Maintenance: Develop and implement maintenance plans, ensuring regular checks and documentation.
Construction: Build and install various structures within the factory using diverse materials.
Management: Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, prioritize tasks, and strive for continuous improvement.
Administration: Maintain job logs, coordinate with external suppliers, and assist in stock management.
Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain cleanliness in work areas.
Food (Product) Safety: Adhere to food safety principles and standards.
Self-Development: Stay updated on innovations and technical advancements relevant to the role.
Requirements:
Secondary Education (Grade 12)
Minimum N2 in millwright trade theory and trade tested
5 years'' post-trade test experience
Sound understanding of drawings, fault finding, and technical principles
Proficiency in utilizing hand and power tools
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work decisively, ensuring safety and quality standards
Additional Information:
Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and night shifts as needed
General understanding of factory processes and related technologies
