Millwright Technician Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape R30 000 to R34 000 CTCA leading car battery manufacturer is looking for a Millwright Technician at their PE Factory To perform electrical and mechanical inspections, repairs, and maintenance of engineering equipment to ensure safe operations.Key Performance Areas:

• Diagnose equipment failures and execute repair plans promptly.
• Minimize equipment downtime and damage by performing quick repairs.
• Ensure optimal equipment operation by applying relevant technical and engineering practices.
• Proactively identify and resolve potential production problems.
• Perform routine inspections to detect and address equipment issues.
• Ensure product quality meets set standards through regular inspections.
• Coordinate parts availability for preventative maintenance.
• Operate within set controls and procedures.
• Report risks and areas of concern to management.
• Promote compliance with regulations to prevent wasteful expenditure.
• Support efficient use of financial and other resources.
• Monitor and limit expenditure, reporting deviations from budgetary limits.
• Maintain effective working relationships with employees and customers.
• Identify and solve problems with integrity, aligned with core values.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Grade 12 Certificate (NQF 4)
• Trade Test: Millwright (NQF 5)
• Up to 3 years technical, electrical, and mechanical maintenance experience as a Millwright in a manufacturing environment
• Basic MS Office, SAP, ERP Systems, and other job-specific software systems.
• Knowledge of maintenance practices, designs, methodologies, and SOPs.
