Hire Resolve's client is currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled Millwright to join their mining operation in the North-West province. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of machinery and equipment used in smelter and surface mining operations.Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on mining equipment
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
- Repair or replace faulty components and parts
- Install and commission new equipment
- Adhere to safety regulations and practices at all times
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth workflow and minimal downtime
- Grade 12
- Millwright Trade test
- 5 years' experience in the mining industry post apprentice.
- Experience in founder/smelter environment.
- Technical Qualification (Fitting and Machining/Turning, Electrical Technical Qualifications)
- N6 Certificate
- Valid driver's license
- Salary: Negotiable
- Paid Time Off (PTO) (if applicable)
