Hire Resolve's client is seeking an experienced Mine Manager to join their prominent mining company located in the Northern Cape.Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of mining operations, ensuring optimal production and safety standards.
- Develop and implement mining plans and strategies to achieve operational goals.
- Ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards.
- Monitor financial performance, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Lead and mentor a team of mining professionals.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize mining processes and resolve operational issues.
- Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments to maintain a safe working environment.
- Grade 12
- Diploma/Degree in Mining Engineering
- Mine Managers' Certificate of Competency
- Mine Overseer Certificate (Advantageous)
- 10 - 15 years' opencast mining experience and minimum 5 years' experience holding a 3.1 legal appointment.
- Valid Drivers' License
- Salary: Negotiable
