Working closely with the mine planning, mineral resources department and Geotech to ensure slope stability monitoring systems on the mine.Working closely with the Geotech Department. To develop protocols to enhance slope management controlsDrive the implementation of critical controls within the mining processes8. DECISIONS AND JUDGEMENTS (Limits of authority)Decides on load /haul schedules and loading places, with the authority to stop the activity.Makes final decisions on safety matters.Deals with employees and contractors questions / issues, deciding how best to handle them.Has the authority to postpone a blast; but would inform General Manager and any others affected in advance.Makes recommendations (not decisions) on capital projects.Having absolute authority over the mining plan and instituting change management notes in case of change in the original signed-off mine plan.9.
